Seed Sounds Weekender is the UK’s largest free multi-venue music festival, taking place from 24th-26th April 2026. Powered by GigPig, it brings thousands of live acts to pubs, bars, restaurants, and hotels across the country, celebrating the venues where music careers begin.
Think about the Arctic Monkeys at The Grapes, Amy Winehouse at Rayner’s, Oasis at The Boardwalk, all started in small, local venues pubs just like these. This is a nationwide spotlight on the spaces that shape the sound of tomorrow.
If you’re already on GigPig, you’re good to go! Just start booking gigs for the festival weekend on the 24th to the 26th of April through the platform, and you’ll instantly be involved with the Seed Sounds Weekender! It’s completely free to take part, no credits will be taken for any gigs booked that weekend.
Not on GigPig yet? No problem, you can sign up here to start booking your live music and entertainment for your venue and be part of the movement. All Seed Sounds Weekender gigs will be free to post, no credits required so you can get involved straight away with no gig booking fee.
That’s great news! If you already have gigs booked through GigPig between the 24th and the 26th of April, they’ll count toward your participation. No credits will be taken for those gigs.
There’s no fee to take part in the Seed Sounds Weekender, and no credits will be taken for any gigs booked for the weekend. The only cost is paying your booked artists, as you normally would.
Yes! You choose your artists and set your schedule via the GigPig platform, just like normal. You know your crowd the best, so make sure you’re booking the artist who best suits your vibe and energy.
Yes. You can book gigs for any or all of the festival days, Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday.
Every participating venue will get access to a downloadable promo pack that includes:
- Social media templates
- You’ll be featured in the Seed Sounds Weekender “What’s On” listings, with the opportunity to appear across GigPig’s social media and email channels in the lead-up to the event.
